Raat Ki Rani Magazine is a reader-funded literary and arts publication featuring short stories, poems, personal essays, and visual art. Named after the night-blooming jasmine, the spirit of our magazine is dreamy, introspective, and always becoming.
Exploring ideas of abrupt change, beginning again, navigating uncertainty, and holding on through it. The theme is open to interpretation. Please avoid using the theme as your title. See the mood board

We accept original, unpublished work. If your piece has appeared on a personal blog or your social media pages, that is fine. We simply ask that it has not been formally published elsewhere and that you retain all rights.
You are welcome to submit to multiple categories, but please only submit once per category.
Foreign languages are allowed but must be submitted with an English translation.
Poetry: 2-5 Poems, Max 10 Pages
Short Story & Essay: Max 3,000 words
Visual Art: 1-5 works relating to the theme
Visual art may include illustration, photography, film, or other digital work.
