SECTION B: EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

Audition specific videos must be uploaded to YouTube, Vimeo, Google Drive or Proton Drive with no access restrictions (no passwords, permissions, or similar). Links from any other platforms will not be accepted.

We will not download video files. Submissions containing inaccessible or ineligible links will not be followed up - it is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure links are fully accessible before submitting. If you submit a video longer than the required length, we will only watch up to the specified minute.

15. PART 1: WRITTEN OR VIDEO INTRODUCTION
We want to know more about you, and why you're applying. Introduce yourself in a way that feels true to you.

This can be a short written piece (up to 250 words) or a video shared via an accessible link (up to 1.5 minutes), spoken directly to the camera in English.

We’re interested in who you are right now - your experiences, questions, or life and career shifts that have brought you to this moment - and why this feels like the right time to step into NORMGROUND. Tell us what you’re moving toward, what you hope to deepen or unsettle, and what you imagine might grow from being part of this space.

16. PART 2: VIDEO
Submit a recent video showcasing an improvisation that reflects your authentic movement style, set to music of your choice. As NORMGROUND aims to work with dancers from street dance backgrounds, we expect to see movement qualities and characteristics inherent to these styles in your improvisation. 

Maximum length: 2 minutes. 
Format: One continuous, unedited improvisation video. No showreels, battle/competition videos, or theatre performance footage. 
Recency requirement: The video must be filmed within the past month. Older videos or videos created for other auditions/opportunities will not be accepted.
