Upland Travels – Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Upland Travels! Before booking a trip, please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By booking with us, you agree to be bound by the following rules:

1. Booking & Payments

All trips must be booked through our official channels (Instagram, website, or direct contact). A 50% advance payment is required to confirm your booking. The remaining balance must be paid at least 7 days before the trip unless otherwise specified. Payment can be made via bank transfer, Easypaisa, JazzCash, or other methods approved by Upland Travels. Bookings are non-transferable without prior approval from Upland Travels.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations by Travelers: More than 7 days before the trip: 50% of advance refunded. 3–7 days before the trip: 25% of advance refunded. Less than 3 days: No refund. Cancellations by Upland Travels: If a trip is canceled by us due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, political instability, natural disasters), you will receive a full refund or a transfer to another trip.
Upland Travels reserves the right to modify itineraries, departure timings, or travel dates due to operational requirements, weather conditions, or logistical constraints. In such cases, travellers unable to accommodate the revised schedule may be offered a trip adjustment, credit note, partial refund, or refund depending on the nature of the change. Refunds will be processed within 14 working days via the original payment method.

3. Trip Itinerary

Itineraries provided are tentative and may be adjusted due to weather, traffic, or local conditions. Upland Travels is not responsible for changes beyond our control, including road closures, local strikes, or natural disasters. Travelers will be informed in advance of any significant changes to the itinerary.

4. Accommodation & Meals

Hotel stays included in trips are budget-friendly, based on double/triple occupancy unless otherwise specified. Meals included are standard local meals, and special dietary requests must be communicated at the time of booking. Any additional services, upgrades, or food not included in the itinerary are at the traveler’s expense.

5. Transport & Safety

Upland Travels provides coaster/bus transport for trips.

Travelers must follow the instructions of drivers and guides at all times. Upland Travels is not responsible for accidents caused by negligence, disobedience, or unsafe behavior. Travelers are responsible for personal belongings, and Upland Travels is not liable for loss or damage.

6. Traveler Responsibilities

Travelers must carry valid identification (CNIC or Passport). Travelers must maintain good health for the trip; any medical conditions should be reported in advance. Travelers must respect local customs, laws, and fellow travelers. Upland Travels reserves the right to remove a traveler from the trip without refund if behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or illegal.

7. Photography & Media

Upland Travels may take photos or videos during trips for marketing purposes. By booking, you consent to your images being used on social media, website, or promotional material. If you do not consent, please inform us before the trip begins.

8. Force Majeure

Upland Travels is not responsible for events beyond our control including, but not limited to: Natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, landslides) Political unrest or strikes Travel bans or government restrictions In such cases, refunds or alternative arrangements will be made at our discretion.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from the trip will be resolved amicably between the traveler and Upland Travels. If an agreement cannot be reached, disputes will be governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts of Lahore will have jurisdiction.

10. Privacy Policy

Upland Travels collects personal information (name, phone, CNIC, health info) for booking and trip management purposes only. Personal information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required for trip logistics.

11. Changes to Terms

Upland Travels reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website or communicated directly to travelers.

By booking a trip with Upland Travels, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
