Register to Sell Online with Artisan Arcade

Want to sell your handmade products to a wider New Zealand audience but don't want the stress of running your own shop and website? Sell with Artisan Arcade!

How much does it cost?

1 active product listing: $5 per week + 15% commission on sales.
3 active product listings: $10 per week + 15% commission on sales.
6 active product listings: $15 per week + 15% commission on sales.
10 active product listings: $20 per week + 15% commission on sales.
15 active product listings: $25 per week + 15% commission on sales.

How does it work?

1. You tell us how many active listings you would like at a time and we set up an automatic weekly invoice for the weekly payable amount.
2. Commissions are automatically deducted from your sales.
3. When your products sell, we deduct our 15% commission and transfer the remaining funds owed to you into your nominated bank account.
4. Your sales income belongs to you, and you are responsible for declaring your income and meeting any tax obligations that apply to you. Artisan Arcade only retains its agreed 15% commission from each sale.
5. You provide Artisan Arcade with product descriptions and high-quality digital photographs of your products to use on our website. You may provide up to 3 photographs per listing.
6. Online vendors must provide a supply of their listed products to Artisan Arcade for us to hold and fulfil customer orders. This allows us to process and dispatch orders as quickly as possible. We will let you know when your stock needs replenishing.
7. Shipping costs are paid by the customer at checkout. Artisan Arcade will package and dispatch orders from our Upper Hutt store.
8. You can change your active listings as needed, provided you remain within your chosen listing limit.

What happens when a customer wants to return something?

Refunds are processed on a case-by-case basis. Generally speaking, Artisan Arcade does not offer refunds for a simple "change of mind" where the customer has received the product they ordered and there is no issue with the product.

However, customers may have rights to a repair, replacement or refund where a product is faulty, damaged, does not match its description, or otherwise does not meet the requirements of New Zealand consumer law.

Where a customer raises an issue with a product, Artisan Arcade may investigate the matter and work with the vendor to determine the appropriate outcome.

Where a refund or other remedy is required, Artisan Arcade may process the refund on the vendor's behalf and deduct the amount from funds otherwise payable to the vendor, or require the vendor to provide the appropriate remedy directly to the customer.

The vendor remains responsible for ensuring that their products meet all applicable New Zealand consumer-law requirements.
