Military Eligibility
Eligible individuals include current and former military personnel of the United States, Canada, and Australia; National Guard members (U.S.) in either federal or state status; drilling or Individual Ready Reservists; service-academy or contracted ROTC cadets and midshipmen; veterans and retirees of any discharge characterization; and prior-service individuals no longer in uniform.
Eligible dependents include spouses, children, surviving spouses, Gold Star parents or children, and other qualifying military dependents.
Proof of eligibility may be established with documents such as a DD-214, DD-256, NGB-22, separation or retirement orders, award citations, military or veteran identification cards, Leave and Earnings Statements, military pension or pay records, enlistment contracts, dependent identification, or similar documentation that clearly demonstrates current or past military affiliation or dependent status.
