StarkHacks Mentors and Judges Application

StarkHacks is the world’s largest hardware hackathon (April 17 - 19, 2026), bringing together 1000+ students for 36 hours of innovation in robotics, AI, and hardware design at Purdue University.

Information

Mentors will be responsible for helping participants in their projects throughout the duration of the hackathon. One mentor shift lasts 6 hours. You're welcome to mentor for a greater duration as well.
Judges shall judge projects at the end of the hackathon on Sunday, April 19th, 2026. Judging shall take place 8 AM - 10 AM at the Purdue Armory. All judges must be present in person for the entire judging period as well as until the results have been finalized (~1PM at the latest).
No travel support or accommodation will be provided. However, food will be provided for the duration of the mentorship/judging period.

Eligibility

Mentors and judges may include graduate students, PhD candidates, postdocs, industry professionals, and researchers. Experienced undergraduates are also welcome to apply as mentors.
Non-Purdue applicants must be over the age of 18 i.e., must be born on or before April 17, 2008. No exceptions will be granted to this. We will verify your full name and date of birth against a Government-Issued ID so please ensure all details are correct.
