How to take the verification selfie: Take a recent selfie while holding a handwritten note that clearly shows today’s date and the words “Be in My Travel Video”. Your face and the note should both be clearly visible in the same photo. This selfie is used only to help confirm that you are the person shown in the submitted photos and is not intended for publication.

Photo, Likeness & AI Video Release — Consent Version 1.4 — September 2026. I voluntarily authorize the creator of Be in My Travel Video to use the photographs and likeness I submit for application review, identity verification, and, if selected, creation of AI-generated or AI-assisted travel content based on the travel video I selected. I authorize the approved resulting content to be published on the Be in My Travel Video YouTube channel, including videos, Shorts, thumbnails, and directly related promotional material. The channel may be monetized. I understand that I will not receive payment or royalties unless a separate written agreement is made. If selected, I may receive an Unlisted YouTube preview before publication. Public release will occur only after the required approval process is completed. Photo retention: verification selfies will generally be deleted within 30 days after identity verification is completed. Other submitted source photos will generally be deleted within 60 days after the final approved content is published, unless temporarily needed to complete the project or resolve a dispute. Consent records, electronic signatures, submission date, selected-video information, approval records, and the finished published content may be retained for documentation while the content remains published. Submitted source photos will not be sold or reused for unrelated projects without separate permission.
