Who We Are:

Buffalo Undergraduate Consulting Group (BUCG) is a professional consulting club that provides students who are interested in working in the consulting industry with the opportunity to develop important business skills such as analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills through practical hands-on experience.

What You'll Do:

As a Consultant on our client engagement team, you'll work alongside University at Buffalo's top minds on a case that reshapes a business's strategic decisions.

- You will be a part of a team for an innovative senior healthcare business based in Buffalo, NY
- Work on a case team with other consultants under a project manager, owning a distinct work-stream of the project
- Take charge of identifying information sources, gathering and interpreting data, executing analysis, and presenting findings to case team members and the client
- Research clients' industry and support the team's strategic recommendations

Objective:

- Conduct a detailed analysis of industry standards to identify key performance benchmarks and provide actionable insights for competitive positioning.

- Develop a comprehensive market research report to identify target customer segments and formulate strategic marketing initiatives for effective client acquisition.

- Analyze market data to understand price sensitivity and create a pricing model that balances affordability for clients with profitability for the business.

Qualifications:

- Be a current University at Buffalo undergraduate student
- Be an official member of the Buffalo Undergraduate Consulting Group (BUCG)
- Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA

The project will run for 4-6 weeks from the project commencement and is an unpaid opportunity. Consultants should be willing to dedicate the required amount of time to ensure successful deliverable. Please upload your resume to be considered. The deadline is Sunday 6/23 @ 11:59 PM.
