Software Engineer @ Assemblr

At Assemblr, we’re on a mission to bring Augmented Reality (AR) closer to everyone — from students and teachers to enterprise users — by making it easy, accessible, and powerful.

As a Back-End Developer, you’ll be part of our core tech team that builds the engine powering all Assemblr products, especially Assemblr EDU, our interactive learning platform used by more than one million users and thousands of schools worldwide. You’ll play a key role in developing scalable back-end systems that support everything from AR content creation to real-time collaboration and data integration.

What you'll achieve

- Develop APIs and complex backend systems powering our platform.
- Optimize application performance for production-scale deployments.
- Write documentation and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and debug to ensure system stability and performance.

Skills & Experience

- Growth-minded and keen on constantly improving yourself through learning and experimentation.
- Effective problem solver and feels challenged by exciting problems.
- Strong in CS fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
- Familiar with top programming languages (Python, Javascript), database systems (SQL), and version control (Git).
- Experience or familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Experience with Python, Django, Django REST API, and PostgreSQL is a plus.
