Professional Development/Skill-Share Workshop Interest Form
Creativos Unidos exists to bring Latino creatives together — across disciplines, generations, and backgrounds — to build opportunity, belonging, and collective strength. Our mission is to foster collaboration, accelerate talent, and create spaces where Latino creatives can grow, connect, and lead.
Sembrando Raíces is a monthly gathering that invites freelancers, artists, entrepreneurs, and creators to gather side-by-side in a spirit of co-creation, community care, and cultural memory. This is where support, story-sharing, inspiration, and tangible growth come to life.
A key part of Sembrando Raíces is our 50-minute workshops where we offer our creative community resources, skills, and knowledge to grow & expand as professionals and as artists. We have two workshop categories: Our Professional Development Workshop and our Skill-Share Workshop.
Our Professional Development Workshop aims to answer the struggle of being an artist but not having the skills or knowledge to survive financially as an artist or to succeed within the professional world. We invite our members and allies with professional experience to share their knowledge, insight, and expertise on subjects and skills that can help us succeed within the professional world. These workshops could cover subjects such as: how to effectively market an event, grant writing, copyright, social media analytics, building a portfolio, etc.
Our Skill-Share Workshop recognizes the wealth of knowledge and experience each of us have and aims to encourage each of our members to take turns teaching each other about a skill, art medium, technique, process, etc. These workshops could include how to make a zine, a poetry workshop, Adobe Lightroom 101, or using color theory in your posts and outfits.
Feel free to be creative with what you would like to share and how you would like to share it. We are so grateful to everyone who fills out this form, intentionally pouring into our community and into each other. We are excited to grab our notebooks and to learn from you.
When accepted to facilitate a workshop, Creativos Unidos' Program Manager jared Cetz will follow-up with an email letting you know and will offer support with any ideating or revising you would like for the presentation.

Creativos Unidos existe para unir a creativos latinos de distintas disciplinas, generaciones y orígenes, con el propósito de generar oportunidades, sentido de pertenencia y fuerza colectiva. Nuestra misión es fomentar la colaboración, impulsar el talento y crear espacios donde los creativos latinos puedan crecer, conectar y liderar.
Sembrando Raíces es un encuentro mensual que invita a freelancers, artistas, emprendedores y creadores a reunirse en un espíritu de cocreación, cuidado comunitario y memoria cultural. Aquí es donde el apoyo, el intercambio de historias, y la inspiración y el crecimiento tangible cobran vida.
Una parte fundamental de Sembrando Raíces son nuestros talleres de 50 minutos, donde ofrecemos a nuestra comunidad creativa recursos, habilidades y conocimientos para crecer y expandirse como profesionales y artistas. Contamos con dos categorías de talleres: el Taller de Desarrollo Profesional y el Taller de Intercambio de Habilidades.
Nuestro Taller de Desarrollo Profesional busca responder a la dificultad de ser artista sin las habilidades ni los conocimientos necesarios para sostenerse económicamente como artista o para trabajar como artista en el mundo profesional. Invitamos a nuestros miembros y aliados con experiencia profesional a compartir sus conocimientos, perspectivas y experiencia en temas y habilidades que pueden ayudarnos a tener éxito en el mundo profesional. Estos talleres pueden abarcar temas como: cómo promocionar eficazmente un evento, la solicitud de subvenciones, derechos de autor, análisis de redes sociales, creación de un portafolio, etc.
Nuestro Taller de Intercambio de Habilidades reconoce la riqueza de conocimiento y experiencia que cada uno de nosotros tiene y tiene el objetivo de alentar a cada uno de nuestros miembros a turnarse para compartir mutuamente sobre una habilidad, medio artístico, técnica, proceso, etc. Estos talleres pueden abarcar temas como, por ejemplo: cómo hacer un fanzine, un taller de poesía, Adobe Lightroom 101, usar la teoría del color en sus publicaciones o atuendos, etc.
