AI LA is a public benefit 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that supports STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics) communities of the Greater Los Angeles area. AI LA’s mission is to catalyze innovation through education, conversation, and collaboration.
Our dedicated community of over 23,000 members explores artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and other emerging technologies' impacts on humanity. We offer guidance and create professional and industry development opportunities by delivering programs and initiatives on contemporary topics and multidisciplinary applications of AI that serve our region.
We’re assembling a dedicated volunteer team to help bring our events to life. Volunteers will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations—from welcoming guests and supporting speakers to managing logistics and production across the lot.

Our large Summits/Symposiums/Conferences require an 8 hr commitment while our smaller events only require 3 hrs. For back office roles such as design or marketing or mentorship, these are project-based. Volunteers making larger commitments such as becoming a Champion or Ambassador will get a free Community AI LA+ Membership and join the team as an affiliate.
