The New Milford Riverfront Revitalization Project is a community-led effort to reimagine a vibrant 21st-century riverfront that connects with our historic Town Center. The vision aims to expand recreational opportunities, support community development, strengthen climate resiliency, and boost the local economy, while protecting the Housatonic River and its surrounding ecosystem.
Following the adoption of the Riverfront and Brownfield Area Revitalization Master Plan in 2021, the Town refined the Riverfront Plan in 2024 and is now launching a new phase of design development in 2025, led by WXY architecture + urban design.
