Like you, we’re fed up with the constant SGM's, chaos and disruption caused by a small group who refuse to let the organisation move forward.

Worse, it’s become clear that the campaign to undermine WIRES has been deliberate, dishonest and driven with open bullying, harassment, and intimidation. This is nothing to do with helping wildlife.

We’re asking for your help to put a stop to this. What we are now considering is the option of members calling members to account for their behaviour.

Here’s what we propose:

- expulsion of anyone found to have bullied, harassed, or intimidated members, or spread misinformation that undermines WIRES. If the Board expels, notice and appeal rights apply under Rule 2.16 (Disciplining of member)

- An independent review and report on the board decision process, Code of Conduct, and constitution, to highlight deficiencies that continue this cycle.

- Immediate legal and regulatory action by the Board against any individuals or groups threatening, bullying, defaming, or interfering with WIRES or member safety. This includes referring cases of fixated behaviour directly to NSW Police.

- If no action is taken within 42 days, WIRES formally request the appointment of an independent investigator and/or administrator through the appropriate authority to protect members, staff, and the Gift Fund.

To do this, we need 5% of members to be part of this motion. If you would be willing to be part of the 5% needed, click the link and provide your name, branch and member number. If we get 5% we will table this to the board.

We have been providing detailed documentation to the board for review, and we expect that they action these under Rule 2.16 (Disciplining of Members)*. If the board are unable to act we will enact Rule 11.2(b) to call a meeting.
