Welcome to the Literacy Through Photography Summer Camp! Get ready to explore play and collaboration through hands-on learning experiences for all skill levels, from capturing stunning landscapes to mastering portrait photography.

Details When: June 23–27 (five days), 10 AM – 3 PM each day Where: 2000 Edwards St, Houston, TX 77007 Fee: $350 per student (includes daily lunch, snacks, and transportation for museum & art site visits)

Agenda

Summer camp encompasses a cumulative education project spanning 5 days. Parents are welcome to view students' presentations on the final day!

Activities

Visit artists and their neighborhoods to learn about their creative engagement and collaboration with the community

Gather archival images and new images to document the community and creative collaborations across Houston

Re-image a deck of playing cards through collage to showcase aspects of play and collaboration within community

Present their cards and an imagined game
