Product & Growth Specialist (part time, remote EU+UK)

Weather on the Way is a mobile iOS app that helps drivers avoid bad weather. We help our users reach their destination safely and make their trips fun and stress free thanks to detailed road weather forecasting system. The app has been downloaded over 400 000 times and has been #3 most downloaded weather app in US during Christmas 2023 period.
We are a small, independent and bootstrapped company, fully funded and profitable for 4 years of its existence. We work remotely in the EU timezone.

About the Job

We are looking for a Product & Growth Specialist to help scale up our customer acquisition and retention efforts. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns, optimising user retention, and driving revenue through subscriptions and in-app purchases. The ideal candidate is data-driven, creative, and has a proven track record in product management and growth
The job is part time (20h/week) with a possibility of full time contract in the future as we scale our marketing efforts.

About you

We are looking for someone who can self manage and work independently. You will be trusted to manage your time and priorities, find your own goals and execute them, and make sure they align with the overall goals of the product. You will have control over what tools to use to solve a specific problem, and should have experience to know how to weigh and pick the best approach. An ability to jump into a new unfamiliar territory and learn something new is highly valued.
We are looking for candidates based in EU countries + UK.

Key Responsibilities

You should be an expert in one or two of these areas, with working knowledge of the rest.
User Communication and Retention:
- Design customer journeys and CRM flows.
- Manage and write Weather on the Way blog and social media.
- Create and optimise growth loops to maximise user retention and engagement.
Data Analytics:
- Create data analytics reports for the app.
- Provide actionable insights to inform decision-making and strategy.
- Identify and leverage growth opportunities.
Monetization:
- Develop and optimize subscription models and in-app purchases.
- Optimise user communication during the onboarding and subscription process.
App Store Optimization (ASO):
- Manage ASO efforts, localization, and testing of visual assets.
- Improve app visibility and conversion rates in app stores.
Paid Acquisition:
- Manage and optimize paid acquisition campaigns across platforms such as SearchAds (ASA), UAC, AdWords, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Your skills and experience

• Proven experience in product management or growth roles, preferably within the mobile subscription app industry.
Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools.
Proficient in data analysis and using analytics tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a results-driven approach.
Passion for technology and staying up-to-date with industry trends.

Pay & benefits

13 days of paid time off (scaled from 26 days for a full time contract)
Salary: Range of $4000-6000 USD / Month gross depending on your skills. (part time freelance contract, 20h/week)
