Software Engineer, Backend

At the heart of everything we do are people. We’re a unique blend of young talent and global digital-industry veterans, and we're currently in search of a talented Backend Software Engineer to join our team and take on the following responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain efficient, scalable and reliable backend systems

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop excellent user experiences

• Solve performance problems and architectural challenges

• Manage and operate the solutions you develop, ensuring they perform optimally in production

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and adopt new technologies to maximise development efficiency

Qualifications

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Excellent problem-solving and learning ability

• Self-drive and a proactive mindset

• Thorough knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript

• Familiarity with Node.js, or other server-side technologies

• Strong background in non-relational database systems, such as MongoDB or Redis

• Testing mindset and an eye for clean code

• Strong background in Computer Science

• A passion for great UX

• Familiarity with Git

• Proven literacy in English

• Military obligations must be fulfilled (if applicable)

• Bonus: Experience with task planning and effort estimation

•  Bonus: Contributions to open-source projects
