As a developer / software engineer on our team you'd be a major contributor to our micro-services ecosystem (built out in compiled languages) to provide users an alternative buying experience through our online platforms. Our infrastructure is built in the cloud (AWS) w/ code first infrastructure and we are looking for more expertise to grow our engineering team. We work on everything from front-end frameworks to backend processing of events as we build out our business. We also care about our pipelines and time so we embrace CI /CD technologies to help release code efficiently. All in all, as an small team we get to build interesting systems and partake in all aspects of the development process.

So, what is reverse logistics? Forward logistics focuses on the movement of goods from the manufacturer to the customer, reverse logistics focuses on customer returns. Our role in this process is the liquidation of these goods. The customer returns an item to the seller and then the seller sends it to us for liquidation. Have you ever wondered what happens to the items you returned? The pants that were too small or the speakers with the disappointing sound that you sent back? Tracking and processing this type of inventory requires specialized custom software. That is where you come in, joining our team to design, build and maintain systems for an ever-changing Reverse Logistics industry. Job summary We are seeking an experienced Front End Developer to join our IT team. Your role will be to work closely with our IT team, aiding our company members in understanding their challenges, and helping design and build software solutions. You will also assist with maintaining software systems and provide user support. We currently work on In-house software, and maintenance.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React and other relevant technologies.
- Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirement analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code across the full stack.
- Perform code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to enhance performance and resolve issues.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends in technology and continuously enhance your skills.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to develop new features and integrations.
- Working on headless bidding systems and the components to make it happen
Requirements and Qualifications
- Proactive self-starter with a keenness for continuous learning.
- Minimum of 3+ years experience with a complied language like Java, Go, C#
- Ideally 3 years experience in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- At least 2 years of experience with PostgreSQL, demonstrating proficiency in relational - databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with Cloud Environments such AWS, Azure a plus
- 3+ years' experience in building and integrating with RESTful APIs.
- Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks, preferably React, Next.js
- Familiarity with TypeScript, reactive programming, and asynchronous methodologies.
- Experienced with version control systems such as Git.
- Exposure to AWS or other cloud environments is advantageous.
- Exceptional problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits
Annual Salary: $90,000 - $110,000
