Our upcoming euro games

1/2 Ecoria

The Core Fantasy:

You are not just drawing components; you are bringing a dynamic, competitive ecosystem to life. Players are landscape architects of a living world, balancing the graceful beauty of nature with the sharp, clear iconography of a heavy euro game.

The Artistic Challenge & Opportunity:

A Cohesive, Living World: The art must make players feel like they are cultivating a real place. The style needs to bridge the gap between the natural beauty of habitats (lush forests, flowing rivers, arid deserts) and the clean, functional clarity required for complex game systems.

Key Components to Illustrate:

The Heart of the Game: The Roundel Board is the central action selection mechanism. It needs to be a visually stunning centerpiece that intuitively guides gameplay.
A World of Tiles: Over 300 habitat, river, desert, and animal tiles need distinct, beautiful, and immediately recognizable artwork. How does a "Wetland" tile look different from a "Grassland" at a glance? How does a "Snake" tile interact with the environment on the tile?
A Vibrant Animal Kingdom: The 109 animal cards (Birds, Primates, Predators) are a chance to create characterful, zoologically-inspired illustrations that pop. Each card is a small portrait of a creature in this ecosystem. → Depending on cost and/or availability, some of these could also be replaced by royalty-free pictures of animals instead of artwork.
The Specialists: The 5 specialist types (Grassland, Wetland, etc.) could be represented by unique, thematic character portraits.

2/2 Heirloom

The Core Fantasy:

You are capturing the charm, challenge, and quiet beauty of building a small flower-growing business in a big city apartment. This game is cozy, intimate, and bursting with color. The art should feel like a warm summer day, full of life and personal ambition.

The Artistic Challenge & Opportunity:

Charm and Character Over Realism: This game needs a style that is inviting, characterful, and slightly whimsical. It's about the personality of the neighborhood, the unique flowers, and the quirky clients. This is a prime opportunity for an illustrator with a strong, distinctive style to leave their mark on every component.

Key Components to Illustrate:

A Neighborhood Alive: The Apartment Board with its many windows is a character in itself. Each window is a potential customer, and the art needs to give the building personality.
The Flowers Themselves: This is the star. The six flower families need to be distinct, beautiful, and stylistically consistent. Illustrators will need to design the look of the Tulips, Roses, Sunflowers, etc., for this world.
A Parade of Personalities: The Neighbor tiles and Player Powers are a dream brief for character design. Each should be a unique, memorable person from the neighborhood (e.g., "The Photographer," "Autumn Witch," "Good ol' Pat").
Charming Details: The Billboards, Garden Goals, and Bloom Schedule are all opportunities to inject more charm and world-building into the game.
