a little plot, a little playlist

hello there! i'm 21+ and an istj. i'm here hoping to meet someone lovely to share affection, little adventures, random conversations, and hopefully a meaningful connection with. i'm a big believer that getting to know someone should be fun and exciting, so i'm always happy to exchange stories, share silly little updates about our days, or talk about absolutely anything that crosses our minds. bonus points if you enjoy the little things as much as i do!

let's talk about music first because i could honestly talk about it for hours! bleachers, dewa19, keshi, and niki are some of my forever favorites. i love finding songs that somehow feel like they understand exactly what i'm feeling. i'm also always open to new music recommendations, so please don't hesitate to send me your favorite songs! who knows, maybe they'll end up on my daily playlist too.

now, moving on to movies and series! i LOVE watching things, but there's one little thing you should know about me: i'm a certified rewatcher enjoyer. i love discovering new movies, but revisiting my old favorites is a whole different kind of comfort. sometimes i just want to watch something familiar and fall in love with it all over again. my top 4 on letterboxd are dead poets society, peter pan, me before you, and manchester by the sea. yes, quite an interesting combination, isn't it? i also enjoy romance-comedies, western series, and anything with an interesting storyline or a plot twist that makes me go WHAT?! i'm always up for a little movie discussion, especially if you have strong opinions about your favorites!

aside from music and movies, i absolutely love reading! whether it's a physical book, an ebook, or someone's thoughtful little corner on substack, i'm always excited to find something worth reading. i enjoy beautiful writing, interesting perspectives, personal essays, and stories that stay in my head long after i've finished reading them. feel free to send me something you've been reading lately. i'd genuinely love to check it out!

as for my personality, i'd say i'm somewhere between reserved and bubbly. i might come across as a little quiet at first, but give me some time and you'll probably get a completely different version of me. i can be quite talkative when i'm comfortable, love sharing random thoughts, and occasionally get excited over the smallest things. i enjoy having meaningful conversations about life, but i also love unserious discussions, silly jokes, random questions, and laughing over things that probably aren't even that funny. basically, i appreciate both the deep talks and the nonsense!

when it comes to affection, my love languages is quality time. i love thoughtful messages, little reassurances, genuine compliments, and knowing that someone is happy to spend their time with me. i don't think everything has to be grand or extravagant. sometimes, a simple good morning, a song sent out of nowhere, or a random update about your day can make me really happy. i enjoy the kind of connection where we can be ourselves, feel comfortable, and make ordinary days a little more special.

oh, and a few extra details before you go! my pfp is wonbin from riize, if that matters ;p i use they/them pronouns and i'm sub-leaning. just putting that out there so you know a little more about me!

anyway, i'm looking forward to meeting someone thoughtful, affectionate, communicative, and genuinely interested in building something meaningful. someone who enjoys sharing little pieces of their world with me, just as much as i'd love to share mine with them. let's exchange playlists, recommend movies, talk about books, send random updates, and see where things go. no pressure to have everything figured out from the beginning. i'd rather enjoy the process of getting to know each other and let things grow naturally.
