About

At Manu, we’re building intelligent software systems that connect deeply with real-world operations. As a Backend Software Engineering Intern, you’ll work closely with the founding full stack engineer on building reliable, scalable backend services. Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend features and APIs under guidance. • Write efficient, maintainable code with a focus on performance and scalability. • Work with databases — schema design, queries, and optimization. • Contribute to testing, debugging, and documentation of backend systems. • Research new tools/approaches and present findings for implementation.

Qualifications

• Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, IT, or related field. • Strong programming skills (Python or JavaScript/TypeScript preferred). • Excellent grasp of Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA). • Good understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL systems. • Familiarity with version control (Git). • Prior project/internship experience in backend development is a plus. • Strong problem-solving ability and eagerness to learn quickly.
