To support us in accelerating our impact in healthcare for all Australians, we are opening a Performance Marketing Manager role will collaborate with the broader Marketing team to build and deliver account optimisation strategies designed to drive business growth and performance.

Job Description:

The Performance Marketing Manager role will involve planning, implementing, testing, and optimising all paid advertising campaigns across digital mediums (Google Ads, PMax, Facebook Ads, Bing, Instagram and TikTok etc). The role includes ownership of the associated analytics & reporting.

The requirements of this role would be optimally suited to a candidate who is comfortable and enjoys operating in a startup setting- where we experience a level of ambiguity and rapid changes to our business operations. Some soft skills that will be conducive to success in this role are skills such as agility, adaptability, attention-to-detail, problem solving and ingenuity.

No startup experience is explicitly required. As we are a health-tech startup ourselves, this is a guiding summary of the environment we are currently operating in.

Responsibilities: - Conduct effective keyword research and target specific audience segments.
- Plan, launch, and optimise SEM and other digital advertising campaigns.
- Monitor and optimise campaign performance to achieve volume, revenue, CPA, and engagement targets.
- Test different variations of ads, landing pages, and audience targeting to drive growth.
- Collaborate with the in-house design team to create visually appealing assets.
- Work with selected agency partners to enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reports for management, including weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports.
- Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
- Continuously improve ROI for ongoing campaigns.
- Propose, develop, and test new campaigns across various paid media channels.
- Foster and maintain partnerships with PPC ad platforms and vendors.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in performance marketing.
- Collaborate with other members of the marketing team to optimise the customer communication experience for maximum return on investment (ROI) and customer lifetime value (LTV).

- Drive effective targeting and audience segmentation for digital advertising campaigns.
- Continuously optimise campaign performance to achieve desired outcomes.
- Generate innovative ideas and test new approaches for campaign success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the customer communication experience and drive maximum value.
We would love for you to have:
- Extensive experience using PPC Google, Bing, display and paid social media marketing
- Strong understanding of analytics implementation (GA4) and tagging (GTM).
- Strong written English – Ad copy will require grammatical accuracy
- Highly analytical
- Strong personal communication skills
- Creativity- flexible and able to adjust strategies in response to changing market trends and consumer behaviour
- A deep hunger to learn and strive for consistent improvement
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to self-manage workload and task prioritisation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various stakeholders
- A strong analytical mindset, supporting you to interpret data and convert trends into learnings and strategic decision making
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience working in a scaling tech start-up (health tech experience highly regarded)
- Previously worked in a broad range of marketing or advertising roles
- Experience managing budgets, tracking ROI and reporting
- Experience working in digital marketing
- Experience in craft dedication to reach high performance e.g. sports, art, music etc.
