COO/Co-founder (Full-time) Application

Are you an aspiring Chief Operating Officer looking for an opportunity to take on new challenges and advance your career?
If you are an enthusiastic leader with the ability to balance big-picture thinking with deep-dive research and attention to detail, we have the perfect job for you!
We are looking for a COO to establish our marketing and operations team and take on full responsibility for driving bottom-line growth by bringing challenging ideas and marketing campaigns that drive brand, product and business objectives.
Overview of Crowdmall
The idea for CrowdMall was generated from a network of over 1,000+ founders and mentors in the pre-launch startup ecosystem. The main reason startups fail is ‘no customer need’. Thus the most important thing founders need is a way of validating their ideas with customer profiles. We offered our founders a variety of options for idea validation and their preferred option was offering their idea/concept on pre-sale in a limited edition. This is the ultimate validation technique as people are required to part with money for a pre-sale. Our research showed that there is a strong requirement for early adopters to be the first to purchase products and they are willing to part with their money in a limited edition pre-sale.
Having completed this research and validated our own idea, we have built and MVP and selected a target ‘beachhead’ of Authors who want to validate their book concepts and readers who want to be the first to receive a limited edition book. In much the same way Amazon started out in e-commerce with books, we are following suit. Our advantage in this sector is we have strong links to the book trade and one of our co-founders was instrumental in the foundation of World Book Day. We are ready to launch our MVP but would like to do this once our COO is on-board.
