🔍 About the Role

We are hiring a focused UI/UX designer who can craft user-centric digital experiences from the ground up. This is not a role for a generalist — we need someone who thrives on designing journeys, building trust mechanisms, and solving for users with limited digital literacy.

Skills & Experience

🎨 What You'll Do (UX & UI Design)

- Research real users to build personas and map their journeys. - Design user flows that are simple, even for low-tech or vulnerable users. - Wireframe complex steps into clean, intuitive screens. - Create experiences that build trust (e.g. Safety prompts, verification, reviews) - Focus on clear labeling, prioritization, and guiding user decisions.

🛠 What You'll Need (Skills & Tools)

- Strong UX thinking and visual design skills. - Confidence in Figma. - Ability to justify design choices and work independently. - Optional: Experience with Notion, Miro, or Whimsical for mapping and documentation. - A thoughtful approach -- not just designing what looks, but what truly works.

📘 Hiring Task: Design Challenge (Required)

Scenario

Muzamel, 25, is moving from his rural village to Kabul for a remote job. He needs to rent a safe apartment via mobile. He’s unfamiliar with rental platforms and worried about scams, prices, and trustworthiness.

Design a mobile-first experience that helps him confidently browse, compare, and contact landlords.

✅ What to Submit

1. Users Persona 2. User Journey Map 3. UX Flow & Wireframes (at least 5 mobile-first screens) 4. UX Rationale (short explanation of decisions) 5. Figma Prototype (link or PDF)
