Dog Desexing Application Form

The Best Dog Trust Community Support Programme (formerly Ruakaka Dog Rescue)

We offer free desexing services for dog owners in the Whangārei, Wellsford and Kaipara regions who are genuinely struggling with the cost of living or hold a Community Services Card.

Our priority is medium to large-sized dogs, including breeds like pitties, staffies, sharpeis, rotties, farm dogs, and other 'Northland specials'.

Please note, we are a very small volunteer team so it may take us a few days to get back to you, but we'll respond as soon as we can.

IF YOU CAN AFFORD TO DESEX YOUR DOG, PLEASE DO NOT APPLY

Please note: You must live in Wellsford or the Whangārei or Kaipara District Council regions. If you are outside of these areas, please do not apply as our funding doesn't cover you.

If your dog is a small breed or came from a breeder or pet store, it doesn't meet our criteria for funding support.
