Puppy Application Form

**Please read our Adoption Agreement, located below, prior to filling out an application and/or placing a deposit. If you have any questions, you can reach us by if you need this form sent to you just ask.

ADOPTION AGREEMENT 

 The following are obligations and terms agreed upon by both Jones Royal Kennels (Seller) and the customer (Buyer) for the sales transaction of a Jones Royal Kennels puppy. A copy of this agreement will be sent via text and email along with an invoice before the deposit is made.  

   1. As payment for puppy, Buyer agrees to pay the Seller the agreed amount for rehoming of puppy. A non-refundable deposit of $250 is required upfront to reserve the puppy and final payment is due in full before buyer takes possession of said puppy.  Deposits can be made via Zelle, Cash App (with a processing fee), or cash. If Buyer agrees to pick up the puppy within 24 hours then no deposit is required. The total price of the puppy will be paid in full at pick up.   **For final payment on pick up day, we accept cash unless otherwise discussed.

 2. Deposits are applied to the final purchase price of your puppy. All deposits are non‐refundable, however the Buyer has the option to transfer their deposit to a different litter (limited to one transfer per deposit).  Deposits are non-refundable. The deposit will only reserve the puppy for 7 days unless arrangements were discussed prior. This will give enough time to arrange travels to Atlanta for pick up. If you are unable to pick up your puppy within the 7 day timeframe, your deposit will be removed from current puppy and transferred to a future litter of your choosing (limited to one transfer per deposit). 

3. Once puppies are ready to go home, Seller and Buyer will set up a time and date for pick-up. Due to GA law, regulations and for the safety of everyone, we are no longer doing in-home visits. We make a rare exception only if all procedures are followed. All puppy pick ups will take place at a mutually agreed upon location in our area. Weekly photos and videos will be posted to our social media platforms ( Facebook).    

4. The buyer understands that we do sell miniature dachshunds and seller does not guarantee size, personality, length, weight, coat, temperament, or reproductive ability of the puppy. We specialize in “Miniature” which means that our puppies will be in-between the size of a standard and a miniature. Their adult weight will range around 6-14 lbs. unless otherwise specified by the seller. The Buyer understands that adult size of new puppy and other characteristics are estimates based on the puppy’s parents and Seller’s experience.  While we breed specifically for certain size, understand that sometimes based on diet and other factors, a puppy can be larger.

5. Buyer understands that our Kennel works with a small network of breeders and not all puppies listed on our website are bred by us specifically. We can also make recommendations for trusted breeders.

6. All puppies purchased from Jones Royal Kennels come with a 2 year health guarantee. All puppies are guaranteed, to the best of our knowledge, to be healthy. The Buyer agrees to take puppy to a licensed veterinarian (of Buyer’s choosing) for a complete health check within 72 hours of receiving their new puppy to qualify for the health guarantee. The Seller is not responsible for any veterinarian bills incurred once the puppy leaves the Jones Royal Kennels home and is in Buyer's possession. If two, unassociated, veterinarians (one being of Seller’s choosing) verifies that the puppy suffers from a life threatening congenital condition (during the first 1 year of life), the puppy can be returned to the Seller for a puppy of equal or lesser value. Seller does not cover minor flaws or any condition that can be corrected by a veterinarian. 

7. If, for any reason, the Buyer can no longer care of their new puppy, they can be returned to the Jones Royal Kennels, but no refund will be issued. No questions asked. Any and all information helps us care for that baby, such as a broken leg due to being stepped on.

8. The Buyer understands that by agreeing to purchase of said puppy from Jones Royal Kennel that they are agreeing to this adoption agreement in its entirety. 

 9. The Buyer understands that all sales are final and there are no refunds once the dog has been purchased.

You are welcome to follow us on social media for additional photos and videos of all of the Jones Royal Kennels.

If you are interested in one of our available puppies, please complete our puppy application and bring home your new baby. Please note that we do have a waiting list and depending upon what you’re looking for this could take time to produce.

We also offer live video via Google Meet of mom and puppies. We are well aware of the terrible scamming that occurs and feel free to request this video and make arrangements to do so. Our cell phone number is also public and very available. It’s one of the many ways we affirm to our pet parents that we are in fact, not one of those terrible scammers.

Lastly, note that the price of your puppy is going to depend on many factors: color, gender, variation, and pedigree are factors in deciding the cost of your desired puppy. 

We occasionally make arrangements to meet pet parents within a certain radius from our home. This can be arranged ahead of time within reason.
