Role Summary:
Imagine yourself as a top-tier chef in a high-end kitchen—masterfully balancing speed and excellence. As a Senior Tech Lead – AI & Automation, you will drive the rapid development and refinement of tools, scripts, and automations across our companies. Leading an international team of four developers (mostly remote), you will combine strategic oversight with hands-on coding in Python and JavaScript to create innovative, high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
o Quickly develop, optimize, and refine tools, scripts, and automations (think: top-quality output delivered efficiently)
o Identify, introduce, and integrate new technologies (e.g., Ollama, RAG, PG Vector) to enhance processes across the organization
o Provide hands-on leadership to a four-person, globally distributed development team (remote/on-site), focusing on Python and JavaScript
o Work with VueJS, Nginx, PostgreSQL, Docker, and other relevant technologies
o Collaborate closely with multiple locations (main site: Munich) and key stakeholders
Qualifications:
o Several years of professional experience in software development, including some leadership experience
o Strong expertise in Python and JavaScript, ideally with AI-related tools
o Proficiency with VueJS, Nginx, PostgreSQL, Docker, or comparable technologies
o High affinity for Big Data and workflow automation
o Excellent communication skills in both German and English
o A team-oriented mindset and the ability to deliver fast, high-quality results
Preferred Skills:
o Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization and orchestration tools.
o Experience with frontend technologies and frameworks (e.g., HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Python).
o Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
