BOOST2
BOOST is a 4 week program we created at
Futureland to help our users accelerate the development of their daily routine through the use of our software and daily guidance from our team. This is our second time running the program. If you participated in BOOST1, you are still welcome to participate in BOOST2.
The program begins by working closely with users to co-create a daily routine that aligns with their goals, takes into consideration their environment, and incorporates the insights and best practices we've gained through our research. As users begin following their new daily routines, our team checks in with them on a daily basis to assess progress, provide support and offer new ideas if needed. At the end of each week, participants receive an individualized report that reflects on their progress and identifies areas of focus for the following week.
BOOST2 will start on January 29, 2023.
A clearer understanding and plan to achieve your goals
In the first week of the program, we will work together to gain a more comprehensive understanding of your goals. To do this, we will use LifePlan, which is a tool and writing exercise that we designed to help you visualize your future, formulate goals, and break them down into smaller more manageable components that can be worked towards on a daily basis.
A new daily routine for increased structure, predictability, and sense of control
We will co-create a daily routine that takes into consideration your specific goals, unique needs, current life situation, and the physical layout of your living space. At times, we may utilize an overhead drawing of your living space to optimize the order of activities and placement of objects in your home to make it easier to stick to your routine and harder to fail at it. Our approach to implementing your new daily routine will be incremental, starting with a daily routine that is at an appropriate level of difficulty for you, then gradually increasing complexity. The ultimate goal is to leave you with a high quality daily routine that you can confidently maintain over prolonged periods and also adapt whenever is necessary.
A new sleep routine for consistent energy levels, as well as physical and mental stability
Getting good sleep is crucial for having a successful daily routine and achieving your goals, particularly over prolonged periods of time. By the end of this program, you will have a new sleep routine that will give you the energy and stability you need to follow your daily routine and make it better over time. For participants who have access to an Apple Watch or any Apple compatible sleep tracker and iPhone, we will use a tool called Futureland Sleep to help you maintain a consistent sleep schedule. Depending on the extent to which sleep is impeding your daily routine, we may prioritize addressing your sleep routine before working on other elements of the routine.

— Kent de Bruin, Designer and Photographer BOOST is a 4 week program that requires around 30 minutes of daily interaction with Futureland and regular check-ins with our team. The exact time commitment will vary based on the day and the individual. Additionally, it will take a few hours to complete the LifePlan exercise, which helps you understand your goals in more detail. It’s important to note that consistent participation and follow-through are essential for achieving the desired results of the program.
The cost of BOOST2 is $250.
We believe that the cost of this 4 week program is a reasonable investment considering the benefits it offers such as improved daily habits and routines, better sleep, and increased productivity. Additionally, this cost is significantly lower than other comparable services that do not provide daily guidance or focus specifically on the active development of one’s daily routine, which is a crucial factor in achieving sustained self-transformation and reaching one’s goals.
Currently, we have kept the cost of BOOST low in order to open it up to more participants and to understand how to best deliver and deliver the program. The cost of BOOST may increase in future rounds.
Futureland is a new company that creates tools to improve your daily life. Our main product is software that brings all of your daily routine in one fun-to-use application. This includes tracking habits, building routines, journaling, improving sleep, and more. Our research and offerings continue to expand each day.

Will I need any special equipment or materials to participate in the program?
To participate in BOOST, you will need a smartphone. To access Futureland Sleep, you will need an Apple Watch or any Apple compatible sleep tracker and an iPhone. If certain habits you want to form require specific equipment, you will need to have that equipment available.
How will my progress be tracked throughout the program?
We will track your progress throughout the program using a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitatively, we will track the number of consecutive days you follow each element of your routine using streaks on Futureland. Qualitatively, we will conduct daily check-ins and assess how your progress aligns with the goals you established through your LifePlan. Additionally, you will also be able to capture rich multi-media notes through Futureland’s journaling interface.
Will the program be tailored to my individual needs and goals?
Yes, this program is tailored to your individual needs and goals, and also takes into account your physical living space when designing your routine. Adjustments to your daily routine are made throughout the program based on what we learn together.
What happens if I miss a day or fall behind on the program?
It is normal for there to be setbacks in following your daily routine, whether it be for the whole day or just a part of it, or even for multiple days. The important thing is how we learn from these setbacks and make adjustments to improve in the future.
