Upgrade your busiest WISP tower from junky RF Elements to Cyber Antennas for free!

For over a decade, RF Elements has misled WISPs about why horn antennas perform well. The advantage of horns comes from narrow beam widths—not “zero side lobes.” Most noise is picked up from inside the sector, meaning a 90° horn won’t perform much better than a 90° sector panel antenna.

The real performance gains come from narrower beams. For example, 30° horns can split a 90° sector into three smaller sectors. This reduces noise and interference, boosts gain for stronger signals, serves fewer stations per access point so each station gets more airtime, and keeps stations closer to the beam centers where signals are strongest and the vertical/horizontal polarities are most balanced. Narrow beam widths also simplify channel planning and frequency reuse.
