Am I the right person for this position?

If you find yourself regularly helping around and engaging in the subreddit, and if you consider yourself in good standing with other users/staff, you could be the person we're looking for! For best results, we ask that you have a respected account that is over a year old in both Chess.com and Reddit. Your post history will be checked - We're not looking for perfection, just making sure you don't have a history of abuse or of breaking Terms Of Service in either websites!
All applicants must be aged 18 or over for consideration.

Are there any time commitments I'd need to make?

No. We ask that all moderators do an amount of work that they're comfortable with.
