un-trouble

We are a group of 15 students from the Köln International School of Design (KISD, TH Köln) working on an exhibition that explores learned gender roles.
As part of this project, we are collecting anonymous perspectives, some of which will be shared in the exhibition as text or audio.

Roles are often assigned to us based on the gender we were attributed at birth – shaping what we’re allowed to do, what is expected of us, how we behave, and how we’re perceived. With these questions, we’d like to invite you to reflect on how such expectations and role models have influenced your life – in the past and today. This is not about how you define yourself, but about what has been (and is still) projected onto you – regardless of whether it fits you or not.

Optionally, you can share your thoughts with us as an audio file at the bottom of this page.

What would that world look like?

If you are unable to answer the questions in writing, feel free to share your perspective and thoughts with us as an audio file.

I agree that my responses may be used anonymously in the exhibition "un-trouble" – for example, as text or in the form of an audio recording.
