Teachers' Testimony

A project from the Smartphone Free Childhood Schools Network a community of educators rethinking phones in schools.

Your stories. Anonymously shared. Truthfully told

As teachers, you are on the frontline – you’ve witnessed firsthand the impact of smartphones on young lives, but we know you can’t speak publicly about what’s happening in schools.

This silence means many parents simply don’t know – helping to keep smartphones in classrooms, and in childhood.

Your voice matters now more than ever. We want to hear your anonymous, unfiltered experiences, amplify your voices, and build momentum for change.
We want to hear about:
⚡How smartphones or social media are affecting your pupils
⚡Safeguarding incidents that shocked or frustrated
⚡Changes you've noticed in pupils’ ability to focus, learn, or socialise
⚡Differences between early smartphone-users vs more offline kids
All stories will be anonymous, but we’ll ask for your region and type of school so we can better understand the picture across the UK.

Tell us your stories. Please don't use real names or personal details for privacy reasons.
