In these Open Lab participants dive into their bodies as the site of
activism, exploring the practice and history of the dance form Twerk in
a broader context of afro-diasporic dances. All participants are invited
to join a dance intervention following up the Open Labs - a flashmob to
collectively reclaim public space despite the persistent risk of
violence and assault of FLINTA* bodies. Let's take the streets dancing,
shaking, liberating!
