landforms contributor interest

hello! thanks for your interest in being involved with and/or staying in the loop about landforms. my biggest hope is that this publication turns into a communal endeavor + conversation. as I envision it, landforms won't have a form without community contributions. anything you wish to share is deeply appreciated.

timeline
july 31 - idea submissions due
early august - hannah will reach out to all folks who submitted ideas, letting folks know if their idea is selected for the first issue. (as this is the first time I'm doing this, I'm unsure how many submissions I will receive. I am thinking I may need to select a handful of submissions, perhaps based on themes that emerge. this will likely mean not choosing all of the ideas. my hope is that pieces that do not end up in the first issue can be part of subsequent issues.)
mid september - finished pieces due
september - october - editing/proofreading process. hannah will be in collaboration with contributors to finalize pieces.
october - november - hannah will compile and design first issue
hope for a printed version before the winter solstice :~)

interested in contributing a written piece to the first issue of landforms? (this could look like a short essay, story, poem, series of questions, observations, album or book recommendations, other fun stuff that I can’t think of but you can...) please share a ~3-5 sentence summary of an idea you'd like to explore if you have photos / artwork to go along with your piece, that's cool too, though definitely not a requirement.

interested in contributing artwork? this could be line drawings to accompany pieces, a spread of your work, a comic, a photo series, cover art, or something else. please share ~2-4 sentences describing something that you'd be excited about contributing- i'd love to hear about it.
