Goblins Executive Intern Application

The Problem We Solve

For millennia, we’ve struggled with the trade-off between scale and quality — we now have the tools to resolve this tension, serving mind-blowing pedagogy, customized to each learner’s ability, mindset, and needs, at scale.

Our flagship product, Goblins, is like having 30 teachers in a single classroom. It lets students draw math on any device, and it figures out the "why" behind their confusion, giving them instant feedback, building their conceptual foundation, and inspiring them to love math.

See for yourself:

The Problem We Solve

Goblins serves 20,000 students across the US, and we’ve raised $1.5M from the Gates Foundation and top edtech angels.
We are in the unique position of having a product that is both highly differentiated and demanded. We’ve nailed retention and tight PMF, and it’s time to grow.

About This Role

Goblins is growing fast and we’re all-hands-on-deck. The Executive Intern will work directly with the CEO in order to build leverage for the team. We’re looking for a hungry and ideally, somewhat technical student to join our team full-time in-person in Brooklyn and play a critical role in our scaling up.

Some Cool Stuff You’ll Do

You’ll be involved with a broad cross-section of the business. This includes:

In particular, you’ll be looking for places to take on things that don’t scale, and build scalable processes that replace them.

You will also work directly from the CEO, who will teach you the basis for their decision-making, such as strategy and operational heuristics that help the team perform.
