We’re excited that you’re interested in joining our team of talented tutors. At Mentor Match, we believe that every student’s education is a personal journey, and we aim to create tailored one-on-one learning experiences through skilled tutors like you.
To ensure a smooth application process, please follow the guidelines below:
1. Submit a Teaching Video
As part of your application, you are required to submit a recent video (within the last six months) that demonstrates your teaching style.
This can be:
- A clip from an actual online demo class you've conducted
- A mock demo where you teach a topic in an online environment
Important: Offline teaching videos (e.g., on a physical whiteboard) or recordings from in-person classes will not be accepted.
2. Attach an Updated Resume
Please make sure to attach an updated version of your resume. Your resume should clearly mention the curriculum(s) you have experience teaching and any relevant subjects or qualifications that highlight your expertise.
3. What We Look For
Your teaching video will be evaluated based on the following:
- English Communication: Clear and effective communication is key.
- Pentab Usage: Proficiency with digital tools for online teaching.
- Engagement: Ability to keep students interested and involved.
- Presentation: Clarity in explaining the subject matter.
4. Video Submission Format
- Please upload your video using an accessible online platform like Google Drive.
- Ensure that the video link has public access or is shared with "anyone with the link."
