Course #1: AI Enhanced PBL: A Practical Guide for Educators Teaching with Project Based Learning

Course Description: This course explores how educators can meaningfully integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Project-Based Learning (PBL) to enrich teaching and learning. Participants will discover how AI can deepen engagement, support learner agency, and strengthen real-world connections within the PBL framework. Through a balance of foundational concepts and practical strategies, educators will learn how to use AI to support inquiry, design learning environments that foster agency, and guide reflection and iteration as part of the project process. With AI as a thought partner, participants will gain tools to co-create immersive, learner-centered experiences. The course also guides educators in curating public showcases of learning and anticipating future trends at the intersection of AI and PBL. Together, these elements offer a roadmap for designing responsive, relevant, and forward-looking learning environments.

Course #2: AI and Media Literacy: Thinking Critically in a Digital World

Course Description: In today’s AI driven media-rich world, the ability to think critically and evaluate information is more important than ever. Media literacy equips learners with the tools to question, interpret, and understand the messages they encounter daily. Critical thinking provides the foundation for making thoughtful judgments by analyzing and assessing information with clarity and precision. In this course, educators will explore how to support learners in accessing diverse media sources, assessing their credibility, and understanding the emotional and behavioral influence of media messages. Participants will also learn how to integrate AI tools to support unbiased analysis, identify bias, and promote reflective media engagement. The goal is to prepare educators to guide their learners in becoming thoughtful, informed consumers and creators of media—ready to navigate a complex information environment with confidence.
