🌟 About the Role:

Vrit Technologies is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Backend Engineer (Python) to lead the design, development, and optimization of backend systems for our SaaS and EdTech platforms. You will take ownership of backend architecture, mentor junior developers, and ensure scalability, security, and performance across our products. If you’re passionate about solving complex problems, architecting robust solutions, and leading high-impact projects, this role is for you.

What you’ll work on: 1. Architect, develop, and maintain backend services using Python Django (and/or FastAPI). 2. Design and manage asynchronous task processing with Celery and RabbitMQ. 3. Implement and enforce role-based access controls (RBAC) and secure authentication systems. 4. Optimize databases with advanced SQL queries, ORM best practices, and query optimization techniques. 5. Lead backend code reviews, ensuring clean, maintainable, and scalable code. 6. Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to deliver high-performance applications. 7. Oversee deployment pipelines and ensure system reliability in production. 8. Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and security vulnerabilities. 9. Mentor and guide junior and mid-level backend developers. 10. Stay ahead of emerging backend technologies and integrate them where relevant. What we’re looking for: 1. 3+ years of experience in Python backend development. 2. Strong expertise in Django, Celery, and RabbitMQ, AWS SQS and Azure Service Bus. 3. Proven experience in database design, SQL commands, ORM usage, and query optimization. 4. Deep understanding of RESTful API architecture and database systems (PostgreSQL/MySQL). 5. Experience with system architecture design and microservices. 6. Proficiency in version control (Git) and deployment workflows. 7.
