who am i
im Leah (they/them), a queer jewish astrologer and dj living on the land of the Sissapahaw, Cheraw, Eno, Occaneechi, and Shakori tribes (commonly known as the triad of North Carolina).
ive been interested in astrology since the early 2000s when i discovered Cafe Astrology and a few of my mom’s esoteric books from the 1970s. my astrology calling truly surfaced during the instagram memehype in 2018. from that time onward, i studied informally thru books, podcasts, and one-off webinars trying to understand my own charts and the charts of my loved ones. since jan 2025, I've been formally studying with astrologer Austin Coppock and many other gifted astrology lovers, students, and practitioners as part of the Fundamentals of Astrology ecosystem.
who are you
many of you reading this may be a friend, pal, or mutual and are part of my community either online, irl, spiritually, or in any combination of those. so many people are curious about astrology and i want to help them access its wisdom in a grounded, practical way.
as i gain more hands-on experience, my offerings are free or at their lowest point for now. i will always offer a sliding scale option with no questions asked and a limited number of free readings for my bipoc and trans kin.
what is astrology

astrology is fun! its also a vast and ancient, anticapitalist technology (although not untouched by colonialism) that commands reverence. there are many different cultural systems, ancient traditions, and astrological systems of thought, as well as the unique and deeply personal way that it speaks to us on an individual level. to me, astrology is a very spiritual experience and informs my whole view of the world. i love how astrology reflects back to us who we are and the energy we’re experiencing in both ironic and literal symbolism.

ill never claim to understand the depth of your lived experience. however i can be a curious witness and someone to hold space and process the energy with. reading a birth chart is a collaboration, and in a consultation we’ll talk about how the sky manifested life for you here on earth.
