Hi 👋 I'm Janna, a former dog person converted in 2017 when Voorhees (pictured below) popped out of my apartment dumpster and demanded I be his mother. We now know this to be the #catdistributionsystem and it is 100% real!
What started in 2019 as a casual and flexible part time job during grad school, turned into a heart-led offering in 2022 when I officially launched Jannanimals! My goal then and now has been to deeply embrace the magic I experience with animals and to share these gifts with my community. I continue to learn something from every animal I meet.
I currently reside in San Antonio, TX and aspire to expand Jannanimals into a mobile service, traveling all over to take care of the world's goodest boys + girls 🐶😽
💕 I am a licensed occupational therapist (OT) and believe well-being exists in direct proportion to our ability to do. In the world of OT, we consider pet-care to be an "instrumental activity of daily living."
💕 If I could invent a holiday it would definitely involve a celebration of naps and all things cozy.
💕 I was voted "most annoying laugh" in high school and have always laughed very expressively.
💕 I am featured in a book written by a US Navy Seal.
💕 I am Reiki Level I certified and find that animals really enjoy energy work.
