Grants & Partnerships Associate

The Courtyards Institute is a nonprofit organization with a mission to develop grassroots initiatives, policy, and talent to advance mental health in East Asian communities. Ours is a culture of ideas, innovation, and community that tackles difficult problems globally. 

To further this mission, the Institute is seeking Grants & Partnerships Associates. Associates will work in teams of 3-4 to write grants and raise funds to support The Courtyard Institute’s policy efforts. Associates will have the opportunity to develop strategy, storytell, and build relationships with key partners to sustain and expand the organization. Associates will coordinate with research teams to write relevant grants.

Responsibilities

Associates will write grants and raise funds to support policy research and broader organizational initiatives. They will also cultivate relationships with strategic partners to enhance policy projects and establish avenues of sustainable, long-term financial backing for the Institute.

Qualifications

- Enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited university. Exceptional high school upperclassmen will also be considered.
- Strong mastery of English writing and comprehension.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in collaborative and high output teams and environments.
- Grantwriting experience preferred.
- Relevant language skills (Mandarin, Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean, etc.) preferred.
