AI Safety Fast Track – Application

The Cambridge AI Safety Hub is running Lent-term Fast Track program on AI safety & strategy. Most of the programme information is available here: caish.org/fast-track. Dinner is provided at most meetings and workshops. As part of the fast-track programme, there will also be socials with members and other AI safety researchers. The programme is open to undergraduates and graduate students of Cambridge University, as well as professionals and/or other students from the Cambridge and London areas. The priority deadline is Friday February 14th, 2025. Should you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact [email protected] and [email protected]. Further information can also be found on the CAISH website: https://www.cambridgeaisafety.org/ai-safety-fast-track _____ Though we have no explicit rule against it, we find it is quite clear when LLMs are used in application processes, and it often reduces the quality of an application. Hence, we encourage you to think of and write answers yourself.

Where are you based?

Workshops are all hosted in-person in Cambridge, UK. We expect almost all applicants to already be based in either Cambridge or London. For London-based participants, we may be able to cover travel expenses from London to Cambridge if it would otherwise prohibit you from joining the programme.
