A merchant ID is a 15-digit code that is issued by credit card processors when you open up a merchant account. This number is an important business identifier that tells the credit card processors of the Boulder Clean Commute program where the money is going and is used to ensure your money is sent and received correctly.
How do I find my merchant ID number?
Look for a 15-digit number on the upper right corner of your merchant account statement—that's your MID. Some terminals have the MID listed on them, usually on the side or bottom of the machine. (If unable to find the merchant ID number, please submit the form with the merchant contact information.)
