Marketing & Engagement Coordinator Application

We're looking for an Marketing & Engagement Coordinator to assist the director with developing marketing strategies, social media content, and engagement initiatives to foster community interaction.

This position is part of our Communications team, which oversees all marketing, branding, and digital presence to enhance outreach and engagement efforts.

Responsibilities

- Attend team meetings bi-weekly and as needed (as determined by your team director). *Please note that meetings will occur more frequently during event planning and execution periods.
- Ensure that marketing campaigns are delivered on time and achieve the desired engagement goals.
- Constantly create opportunities to engage with your community via social media, email newsletters, and events.
- Coordinate and plan content to ensure consistent messaging across all channels, with regular and timely updates.
- Be passionate about the brand’s values and messaging across all community-facing touchpoints.
- You will work to ensure that all external communications align with the organization’s brand voice, identity, and values.

Skills & Experience

-Ability to develop and execute marketing plans to achieve brand goals and increase engagement.
- Proficiency in creating and curating content for various platforms, including social media, email marketing, websites, blogs, and newsletters.
- Knowledge of managing digital presence (social media or website content).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong writing and editing skills to produce compelling, on-brand messaging for diverse audiences.
- Experience in visual content creation (graphics, videos, etc.) or working with design teams to produce engaging visuals.
- Proven ability to engage and interact with online and offline communities, fostering relationships with followers, stakeholders, and brand advocates.

Preferred term length: We’d love to have you with us for a while, but we’re flexible—let’s chat about what works best for you!

Time commitment: On average, you can expect to contribute about 2–3 hours a week, but we totally understand that life happens. We're happy to work around your schedule! *Some weeks might be a bit busier, especially leading up to major events or initiatives.

Location: While our heart is in St. Louis, Missouri, our team mostly works remotely—so you can be part of the mission from wherever you are!
