Apply to BSA

BSA is UCL’s only student-led 10-week startup launchpad. After a successful first year, with alumni raising millions in funding and many continuing to scale their startups post-BSA, we’re back bigger and better than ever!

This year, we’re looking to grow our tight-knit community of UCL’s most ambitious, high-agency students: people who want to tackle some of the world’s most pressing problems.

Over 8 intensive weeks of workshops, socials, fireside chats and 1-to-1 mentorship, BSA gives you the support and environment to go all-in on your startup idea. If you’ve already been spending your nights and weekends trying to land your first 10–20 users when you should’ve been doing coursework, BSA might just be the home for you.

Still unsure what BSA is or what level of support we provide? Check out our Instagram, where we’ll be posting regularly until applications close: https://www.instagram.com/bsa.ucle/

Note that BSA is super-competitive, attracting 100+ applications

As a result, we’ve designed this form to be as straightforward as possible, giving you the best opportunity to tell us what problem you care about and why. Don’t feel pressured to write formal answers (can write in bullets).

Don’t have a concrete startup idea yet? That’s completely fine. We’re looking for people who care deeply about a problem they think is worth solving, even if they’re still figuring out how.

Applying as a team? Please nominate one person to apply on behalf of everyone. The nominated applicant must be from UCL, but the rest of your team can be from any university. If you’re looking for a co-founder, come along to our co-founder matchmaking session TBC.

What happens next? Successful applicants will be invited to a second and final stage interview where the BSA team will challenge your thinking, stress-test your startup idea and get to know you better.

Info session: 5th November

Applications close: Saturday 7th November at 00:01.
