What's Halfsoul? It's a Dark Fantasy/Epic Fantasy Vampire novel. The spice level is low. There's a kiss, there are some sparks, that's about it. This is a fantasy story with elements of cosmic horror and gory vampire bits, so it does get creepy and violent at times, though not overly so. Perfect for readers who enjoy T. Kingfisher, Naomi Novik, or Luis McMaster-Bujold.
