Call for Contributions: African AI Accountability and Trust Playbook

We're building the African AI Accountability and Trust Playbook. A free, open-access guide to AI risk identification, bias auditing, accountability structures, and redress mechanisms, grounded entirely in real African cases rather than imported frameworks. It launches at the 'When AI Fails: Building Accountability, Safety, and Trust in African Machine-Learning Systems' forum in Abuja on 18–19 August 2026, convened by AI Safety Nigeria with support from Sprite+, but we want it shaped by people across the continent.

If you've encountered, investigated, or responded to an AI-related harm anywhere in Africa; in fintech, health, public services, hiring, or elsewhere, we want to hear about it. Takes about 10 minutes, no formal writing required, and contributors are credited by name in the published Playbook.
