Open Morning Booking Information

Thank you for showing an interest in our School. Please book a space using this form.
Timings: The Open Morning starts at 10.00am for a 10.15am start. The day will end at 2.00pm. We will greet you in the theatre foyer before taking you around the School to observe three different classes. The day will finish with a Q&A session where you have the opportunity to ask staff and students your questions about the training we provide and what it is like to be a student at OSD.
Travel: As there is no parking or car waiting area available on site, the school will organise a free bus from/to Oxford city centre and Oxford Parkway station. Please let us know which stop you will be using so we can allocate you a space on the bus.

Who can attend: Our Open Morning runs alongside a normal school day, therefore places are limited to ensure minimum disruption because we observe classes as they are happening and our class sizes are small. Therefore, places are reserved for prospective students only (no guests/parents/guardians).
Under 18 year olds: If you are under 18yrs, please make sure your parent/guardian have given permission for you to attend alone (we can only offer places to prospective students due to our small class sizes). If your parent/guardian would like to wait for you, they can either drop you off at the bus stop on St Giles in central Oxford, or at Oxford Parkway Station, so they know that you have got on the bus. They can then spend the morning in Oxford and then meet you back off the bus. Alternatively, if they are planning on driving you to the school, they can drop you off before spending the morning in Woodstock, or at Blenheim Palace. If your parent/guardian is not seeing you on to the bus or dropping you off please ask them to email auditions@oxforddrama.ac.uk with permission for you to attend alone. Confirmation of your booking: Once you have booked a place, you will see the confirmation on your screen (you won't receive a confirmation email). We will also email you to remind you about the Open Morning the week before. We hold a waiting list, so we ask that you let us know as soon as possible by emailing auditions@oxforddrama.ac.uk if you are no longer able to attend, this way someone else can be given the opportunity to attend in your place.

Which FREE BUS will you be catching on the day?

Parking is not available at the school, therefore we ask that you either use our FREE BUS from Oxford or you get dropped off and picked up. The free bus will pick up and drop off at two points, central Oxford and outside Oxford Parkway Train Station. We will allocate your seat on the bus after you have selected an option below so please remember which stop and time you have chosen. Please make sure that you use the stop that you select here, otherwise there may not be room on the bus for others.

There is parking for £2.50 at Oxford Parkway so for those driving to Oxford, this is the best parking option.
