About the Role


The Assistant Head of Operations plays a critical leadership role in supporting the Head of Operations in managing day-to-day fulfillment activities, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring alignment between operational execution and company goals. This role requires a hands-on operator who can lead teams, improve processes, monitor performance metrics, and support strategic expansion initiatives across global logistics operations.


Key Responsibilities
The core duties of an Assistant Head of Operations include:

-Support the Head of Operations in overseeing daily fulfillment, warehouse, and logistics operations.

-Ensure smooth execution of operational priorities and communicate workflow updates and escalations to global teams.

-Develop, implement, and improve SOPs to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.

-Lead, train, and support warehouse and operations teams to achieve performance targets.

-Monitor operational KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and drive cost-efficiency initiatives.

-Support strategic projects including warehouse expansion, automation, and operational scaling.


Requirements

-Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).

-5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment environments.

-Proven experience leading operations teams and managing multi-site or warehouse operations is strongly preferred.

-Strong analytical skills with experience tracking and improving operational KPIs.

-Experience creating and improving SOPs, workflows, and operational systems.

-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in cross-functional and global environments.

-Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in fast-paced, high-growth operational environments.
