LaFamilia Chapter Leads Application

"We cannot seek achievement for ourselves and forget about progress and prosperity for our community. Our ambitions must be broad enough to include the aspirations and needs of others, for their sakes and for our own" - Cesar Chavez

City Chapters are the lifeblood of LaFamilia. They are where our digital community and global presence turns into real-world power, connection, and capital. These city chapters bring VCFamilia, FounderFamilia, and AngelFamilia all under one roof.

Our grassroots city chapters are in SF, NYC, LA, Chicago, Austin, Boston, Miami, and CDMX. With the right leadership, we can expand to even more cities.

Now, more than ever, this work matters.

As we enter 2026, our venture ecosystem needs resilient, organized local leadership. We are building a federated chapter model (like RMHC or Habitat for Humanity) to empower local leaders to generate revenue and reinvest it back into their city. The long-term vision is to end up creating thousands of independent chapters, in every city where there is demand.

We are looking for builders to lead this charge across four key roles in each city:

- Chapter Lead (POC): The strategist. You manage the budget, align with HQ, and steer the ship.
- Sponsorship Lead: The hunter. You secure local funds and build bridges with power players (VCs, Corps, Universities).
- Programming Lead: The producer. You execute high-quality events that run like clockwork. These include LP/GP dinners, Founder-Investor dinners, and more.
- Community Lead: The heart. You manage member experience, onboarding, and the vibe of your City's WhatsApp group.
Benefits of being a Chapter Lead:
- High-Level Access: Position yourself as a central node in the ecosystem, with direct access to top VCs, founders, and national partners.
- Fiscal Autonomy: Manage your own "City Fund" to reinvest in local initiatives.
- Financial Upside: Team earn a 20% commission on local funds raised + 10% of those that convert to an annual sponsorship
- Brand Elevation: Build your reputation as a key community leader and operator in your city.

Ready to lead? Let’s build. Applications are due Feb 3rd.
