Hiring a short form freelance video editor

We're building a small team of freelance video editors to help us create high-retention short-form content for creators and brands.

You'll primarily be editing YouTube Shorts and other vertical videos across niches like finance, business and talking-head content. We already have a well-defined editing SOP and style guide in place, so we're not looking for someone to reinvent the wheel. We're looking for editors who understand pacing, storytelling, retention, and can consistently deliver quality work while following a proven process.

What we're looking for:

- A strong understanding of what works on YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels - Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a bonus) - Good communication and willingness to take feedback - Ability to follow SOPs and maintain consistency across projects - Reliability and fast turnaround times

If shortlisted, we'll ask you to complete a 30-40 second test edit before onboarding. If you're someone who enjoys creating engaging short-form content and wants to work with a growing creative team, we'd love to hear from you. Fill out the form below, and we'll get in touch if you're a good fit. If you read this, pls write the word bread, in the last question. Thanks.
